YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
Widespread Prayer - We deliberately engage lots of Christians to intercede on behalf of the ministry site.
Loving Relationships - We consistently pursue lost kids & engage them in life-long relationships with Jesus.
Faithful Bible Teaching - We accurately handle Biblical truth, regularly coaching kids to apply it in their lives
Collaborative Community Strategy - We intentionally work together with local churches, agencies and other partners to provide sustainable youth and family ministry.
Adults Who Empower - We strategically develop leaders to reach young people from every people group.
"3Story®" Relationships - Our Way of Life
Youth for Christ staff and volunteers are encouraged and trained to live a 3Story life: A way of life that guides followers of Christ to BE good news while telling stories of THE Good News. It is a way of seeing how the relationships we have with other people and God can be connected and grown. 3Story is not an evangelism tool or method, it is who we want to be and how we want to live. In YFC, 3Story is our living operating system. Our hope is that it becomes our DNA.For more information about 3Story, visit www.3story.org

A Word From Our Executive Director
From an early eage, God gave me a desire to be involved with horses. I grew up on a horse and riding has always been a part of my life. At some point along the way, God asked me to use my knowledge of riding as a tool to introduce teens to Christ.
As a result of this call, God has worked many wonderful results. One girl that came to ride on a regular basis was not interested in any of the other YFC activities. She didn't want to roller skate, go to the weekly clubs, or any of the bonfires. But she would ride. God used her desire and interest in horses to reach her heart. After coming to ride for some time, she committed her life to Jesus Christ as her Savior. She continues to walk with Him.
One of the most important aspects that we focus on at YFC is relationship building. Once they understand that we love them, they share their story with us, then we can share our story with them, which leads to God's story. We call this the 3 Story Approach. We continue to see kids come to know the Lord through the relationships that are built at the different programs at Youth for Christ.
I hope you will enjoy discovering all the things we are doing and the different programs we are running at YFC to reach lost kids. The variety of activities and programs sparks the interest of a variety of different teens; from those who are interested in biking to baking, from dodgeball to horseback riding.
Thank you for your interest in YFC and if you ever want to stop by the Davidson farm and see the teens ride, you are welcome to come.
Youth for Christ Around the World
In the USA
Youth for Christ/USA has had a distinctive history of youth evangelism. In 1944 Billy Graham and Torrey Johnson held a Youth for Christ rally in Chicago. The ministry of YFC spread like wildfire across the USA. Today at thousands of community centers, high schools, middle schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts, YFC staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. For more about the national movement of Youth for Christ, visit www.yfc.org.
YFC/USA is part of a world-wide movement of Youth for Christ International. We are knit together with our common mission, vision, statement of faith, and passion to reach young people with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. However, YFC ministry doesn't look the same in every country. For more about Youth for Christ International, visit www.yfci.org
